Throggs Neck Girls Softball League

The Throggs Neck Girls Softball League has been servicing the young women of Throggs Neck and its surrounding communities since 1975. Geared at providing an outlet of healthful activity and training under encouraging leadership, we promote, develop and enhance life skills for girls ages five to seventeen years old.

Presents for Pets was a real success. We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations. The items shown in this photo is only a quarter of what was donated. Friday, July 18th
J3 - Metropolitan beat J1 - Assemblyman Benedetto by a winning score of 11 to 5. Lead by Colleen Hitchen's pitching and a great defense behind her! With many offensive contributions from the entire team. Lead by Bianca Richards with 3 run scored and Colleen Kallop and Diamond with 2 runs scored each. Colleen Kallop's big 2 RBI hit in the second inning to break the game open! Great job!

Saturday, July 12th
J2 - Schuyler Hill beat J3 - Metropolitan by a score 12 to 8. Celine was the winning pitcher: 6IP, 3hits, 8 strike outs. Offensive leaders were Mary Kate: 1 for 2 1 run, 4 RBI and Jessica Sepp: 2 for 4, 2 RBI - Way to go!
